Schwartz was arrested between Feb 2 and Feb 4th, 2021. He initially appeared in court on 2/24/21. Was ordered to remain in custody pretrial. The indictment was issued on 3/3- he plead not guilty to counts 1-14. Second Superseding Indictment issued 2/9/22. Entered a plea of not guilty to all counts of the Second Superesding On 12/6/22, a jury found Schwartz guilty to all charges listed above from Second Superseding Indictment. Sentencing held on 5/5/2023, sentenced to 170 months of incarceration and 36 months of supervised release as to Counts 1, 3, 4, 7, and 8. Further sentenced to 60 months of incarceration and 36 months of supervised release as to Count 2. Defendant sentenced to 120 months of incarceration and 36 months of supervised release as to Counts 9, 10, and 11. Moreover, he was sentenced to 6 months of incarceration as to Counts 12 and 13. All terms of incarceration/supervised release are to run concurrently.
